1. Who I am

This website is operated by Archies Gurav, an independent Cloud & DevOps Engineer based in Mumbai, India. You can contact me at hello@archiesgurav.in.

2. What information I collect

Apart from the analytics data described in section 6, the only personal information I may receive is what you voluntarily provide when:

• Booking a consultation via Google Calendar — your name and email address are collected by Google to create the appointment.
• Emailing me directly at hello@archiesgurav.in.

3. Infrastructure Enquiries

When you contact me or book a consultation, information provided is used strictly to understand your requirements and prepare for our discussion.

4. How I use your information

Any information you provide is used solely to send you what you asked for, respond to your enquiry, or conduct the consultation you booked. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and I will not add you to a mailing list.

5. Google Calendar

The booking functionality on this website is provided by Google Calendar. When you book an appointment, Google's own privacy policy applies to the data you submit. You can review it at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects information like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. I use this data only in aggregate to improve the site; I do not use it to identify you personally, and I do not run advertising or retargeting on this website.

You can opt out by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. Third-party services and links

To load and display this website, your browser connects to the following third parties, which receive your IP address and standard request information as part of that connection:

• Vercel — hosts the website and may keep standard server logs.
• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — analytics, as described above.

This website also contains links to external sites including GitHub, LinkedIn, and Google. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

8. Data retention

Emails and consultation notes are retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were provided, or as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data I hold about you. To make a request, email hello@archiesgurav.in.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised.
